By Train

Luxembourg railway station (LuxembourgishGare LëtzebuergFrenchGare de LuxembourgGermanBahnhof Luxemburg) is the main station in Luxembourg.

The TGV leaves Paris EST station and arrives at Gare de Luxembourg in just 2hrs 10mins.  This train connects the two cities 5 times a day.

We highly recommend those coming from London by train to take the Eurostar to Paris then the TGV to Luxembourg.  Please note that the Eurostar arrives at Gare du Nord, approximately 0.6 km from Gare l'Est.

By car

Motorways from Metz -France (A3), Brussels - Belgium (A6) and Trier - Germany (A1) connect to the ring-road around Luxembourg City, from which most other parts of the country can be reached.

Drivers from the UK can arrive in Calais via the Eurotunnel or P O Ferries

By Boat

Luxembourg being a landlocked country, it's extremely hard to get in by boat. But if you really want to, there are boat links from the German side of the Moselle river to the Luxembourg side, but it is easier walking over the bridges.
